BC Entry Notice Calculator

Determine the earliest a landlord may enter based on notice given.

Select the proposed entry date and time to calculate when notice must be given in British Columbia.

Applicable Statutes

  • Residential Tenancy Act, SBC 2002, c 78, s 29(1)

Notes

  • Landlord must give written notice at least 24 hours before entry.
  • Entry must be between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. unless the tenant agrees otherwise.
  • In case of emergency, notice is not required.
