BC Repair Request Calculator

Calculate the deadline for landlord repairs in BC.

Applicable Statutes

  • Residential Tenancy Act, SBC 2002, c 78, s 32(1)

Notes

  • Landlords must make urgent repairs within a reasonable time, typically 24 hours for emergencies.
  • Non-urgent repairs should be addressed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 7 days.
  • Tenants should request repairs in writing and keep a copy.
